My name is Stefanie Bender, and I was raised on the southwest and west side of Detroit. I played at Kronk’s Recreation Center where I learned diversity while playing with children of all backgrounds. With the strong foundation I received from my parents and the childhood development from Kronk’s, I learned to navigate through my early teenage years. I went on to attend the Detroit Public School system where I graduated and completed college with a BSBM degree.

My favorite part about working at Chet’s is we all work together as a team to get the job done.

Three words that describe me are: Integrity, Dependable, and Dedicated.

I am happiest when I am with my grandchildren. They bring out the kid in me.
