STEP 1. INSPECTION 

All rugs are inspected for pre-existing conditions. Concerns are noted and addressed, and fiber type, fringe, and pile condition are documented.

Photographs are taken before and after for a comparison of stain and soil removal. Ensures that we give each rug the detailed attention it needs.

STEP 2. APPROPRIATE SAFEGUARDS 

Protective screening is attached over very delicate or worn areas. This protects the integrity of fragile and antique rugs, while still allowing a thorough cleaning. 

STEP 3. RUG DUSTING

Rugs can hold almost a pound of soil per every square foot without looking dirty. We gently tumble or vibrate this harmful soil from your rugs. These are most gentle and effective ways to remove unhealthy and damaging abrasive soil.

STEP 4. TESTING 

We test our cleaning products anytime we think there is a concern with your rug. Ensures your rug will be safely cleaned.

STEP 5. PRE-CLEANING TREATMENT 

A safe cleaning solution is applied to loosen ground in soils and minor pet accidents and their odors. Many rug cleaners skip this step or perform it improperly, which leads to stains being left behind unnecessarily or damage because too much agitation was used. This detergent is also excellent for removing and deodorizing minor accidents left by pets. Just like soaking your hands before a manicure, pre-treating each rug is like a day at the spa.

STEP 6. FRINGE CLEANING 

Special cleaning agents are applied and then gently flushed away. Controlled water pressure is effective at pushing the soil out of the fringe. Your fringe will be clean and bright. Many cleaners use bleach to achieve these results which weakens the fringe.

STEP 7. GENTLE WASH CYCLE

STEP 8. NEUTRAL RINSE & EXTRACTION 

We thoroughly flush and extract until your rug is completely rinsed. This state-of-the-art machine removes dramatically more residue and contamination while being extremely gentle. Leaving your rugs cleaner, brighter and softer than ever before.

STEP 9. FINAL EXTRACTION 

This centrifuge is similar to the spin cycle of your washer but can accommodate very large rugs. It removes dramatically more residue and moisture than any other method. Slow drying causes many unsightly and unhealthy conditions on rugs.

STEP 10. TREATMENTS & PROTECTION (OPTIONAL)

STEP 12. FINAL DETAILING & STORAGE

Rugs receive a final inspection before being rolled up and placed in plastic to keep safe for storage until picked up or delivered.
